The actress and the MLB player, who stars in CW’s Riverdale were married on January 4, 2020. This was less than six months after Kopech proposed to Morgan during a camping trip to Havasu Falls (Arizona) in July 2019. Morgan tells The Knot that it was a fairytale wedding. It was located under an incredible waterfall. Our wedding was planned by our planner in one day. We were married for six months.

They sought a natural setting
Both Morgan and Kopech love nature, and their proposal is a clear indication of that. They wanted their wedding venue reflect this passion. They decided to exchange vows at Historic Walton House, Homestead, Florida, with the assistance of their planner.
Morgan says, “I wanted a place that was warm and tropical but not too far away for my family and friends.” It was exactly what we wanted: The estate is tropical, with monkeys, parrots. Swans. Flamingos. Horses. It’s almost like living in the jungle but you’re in the United States. The couple notes that the venue was “absolutely worth the splurge” for their wedding.
This Dress was Customized to be Daring
“I wore an exquisite Eisen-Stein Bridal gown from Israel. It was so different that I couldn’t believe how beautiful it looked. I loved how it made me feel like a bride the first time I tried it on.” she said. It was elegant and covered all my body perfectly, yet showed off the curves.

Designers describe the Finch dress as “one our all-time favourite designs.” The custom-made, hand-embroidered, beaded, long-sleeved gown was made from lace. The designers say that the high neckline, open back, and sheerness throughout created a bold and sophisticated look. On her wedding day, Vanessa brought the gown to life. The photos she took with Michael as they walked down the aisle were breathtaking. The ceremony, which was intimate and tropical-themed, was nothing short of a fairy-tale.
Surprise gift from…: The bride’s shoes
Morgan wore white feathered stilettos from Gianvito Rossi for her wedding shoes. The bride says that the beautiful white feathers matched our wedding theme. They matched the white parrots at the wedding. My castmate Mark Consuelos gave the shoes to me as a wedding gift. Kelly Ripa also gifted them the shoes. It was so sweet. So sweet.
The Vows were personalized as were the readings
The intimate affair was witnessed by only 35 of their loved ones, which makes the nuptials microweddings. Morgan says, “We wrote our vows.” The couple wanted to keep a record of the ceremony, so they kept their handwritten vows. They were then read from leather-engraved books. She continues, “I loved how raw and from the heart and vulnerable [our vows] were.” “Very sincere and emotional.”

The Officiant was the Bride’s brother
Jeff Morgan, the brother to the bride, was the officiant at the wedding. They laughed and said, “This saved us.”
